1. Who can apply for a phone lease?
Our rental service is open to customers who are 18 years or older and resident in South Africa. Foreign nationals must have a valid passport. No credit history or bank account is needed
2. What do I need to apply?
You only need:
- A valid South African ID or international passport
- A selfie (photo of yourself)
- An initial payment (depending on the phone model)
3. How long can I rent a phone for?
Our standard rental term consists of the Initial Payment plus 12 monthly Access Cycles (rental payments). This means your total rental period is 13 months.
4. Do I need a bank account or credit history?
No. We do not check your credit and you don’t need a bank account to qualify.
5. What happens at the end of the rental?
When the rental term ends, you must return the device to us. We may, at our discretion, offer to sell you the device at its fair market value. It is then up to you whether you would like to buy it.
6. What happens if I miss a payment?
If payments are missed, your phone may be locked remotely until your account is up to date. We will also remind you and offer support where possible.
7. Do I get anything extra with the phone?
We are exploring value-added services such as airtime, data discounts and other benefits for loyal customers. Details will be published once available.

8. Can I upgrade to a new phone later?
Customers who meet all payment obligations and return their device in good condition may be eligible for future rental offers.
9. Is there a penalty if I settle early?
No penalties apply if you settle early
If you’d like to settle all your remaining Access Cycles early and keep the device for the full term, you’re welcome to do so – and there’s no penalty.
If you choose to cancel the agreement early and return the device, a reasonable cancellation penalty may apply.
